KGF Chapter 2: Yash raises excitement and expectations with teaser

The makers of the KGF franchise have released the teaser video of the sequel of 2018’s blockbuster Kannada film KGF Chapter 1 on the occasion of the birthday of superstar Yash. The South Indian actor is turning 35 tomorrow on 8th January and the teaser video of KGF Chapter 2 is a gift from the entire team. Yash took Twitter to unveil the 2.16-minute teaser video and requested fans and followers to shower love and support to his ambitious project. He also expressed his gratitude for advance birthday wishes.

Written and Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, it is the most expensive film in the history of Kannada cinema and Yash has promised that people will definitely have a ‘larger than life’ experience in theatres. The film also has some big names from Bollywood and Kannada film industry including Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malvika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Ayyappa P. Sharma, Rao Ramesh, and many more.

The Teaser video of KGF Chapter 2 is not only power-packed but this first look has already raised the excitement and expectations. From cinematography to music to action sequences, everything is impressive. Each and every frame of this extended teaser justifies why the budget of this film has exceeded 100 crores. The hype is as same as it was for Bahubali and the first look of this Yash starrer indeed gives goosebumps the way Bahubali 2 trailer had given.

If you haven’t watched chapter 1 then this is the right time to go and watch before chapter 2 hits the cinema halls. KGF Chapter 1 is the highest grosser Kannada film with a box office collection of over 250 crores. This sequel is going to be a bigger blockbuster because it’s been a year when people haven’t watched a good film in theatres and probably it’s gonna be the first release post-pandemic. The release date is not announced yet but it will sure get the benefit of being the first film to hit the theatres post-Covid 19 outbreak. Makers have a full-fledged strategy to promote the film and leaving no stone unturned to make this film the biggest hit of Indian cinema.
