The wait is finally over for the Indian game ‘FAU-G’ (Fearless and United-Guards). Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar took Twitter to announce the launch and release of the Fau-G anthem. As per the tweet, the much-awaited game is all set to release on Republic Day – 26th January 2021. The theme song FAU:G is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, sung by Romi, and the lyrics penned by Rashmi – Virag. Created by ncore games, the pre-registration was launched on the occasion of Gurupurab and it surprised everyone by receiving more than a million pre-registrations in less than 24 hours.
Previously, the company had launched the trailer of the game on its official Youtube channel on the festival of Dusshera, 25th October. The game is set in the Indian army. Earlier, Akshay Kumar announced the game through his social media on 4th September. The promoters claimed that their intention is to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s AtmaNirbhar Bharat Movement. It was about to be launched by October 2020 but later announced through a tweet that the launch is pushed to November 2020, without providing any specific release date. 20% of the net revenue generated from the game would be donated to Bharat Ke Veer trust as said by the promoters.
The Indian gaming community is excited to play the online multiplayer action game developed by the Bengaluru based company and have high expectations from the game. The hype of the was also high as its first poster came at the time when govt. was banning Chinese apps and the popular game PubG was also in the row. However, PubG is all set to reenter the Indian market and it would be an exciting battle between the international game vs desi game.
