Twitter to let IOS users share tweets on Snapchat in the new feature

Microblogging social media platform Twitter has launched a new feature on its mobile app that will enable users to share tweets directly to Snapchat as stickers. IOS users can now share tweets on stories or send them as individual messages on Snapchat by tapping on the share icon. This will help in cross-media engagement and promotion of the application in order to get more users. Apart from this, Twitter added that it will also be testing a similar feature for Instagram stories for limited IOS users as of now. It plans to roll out the feature soon for Android users as well.

Twitter is working with rapidly changing times to keep itself updated in this technology era. In November also, it had launched an Instagram story like feature called ‘fleets’ for users worldwide. This feature allows posting content that disappears after 24 hours. It also rolled out the ‘Topics’ feature for users to find things and people or subjects they are interested in. It had also introduced the feature called ‘Voice Tweets’ earlier this year which allows users to post audio tweets.

Twitter is a U.S based microblogging and social networking platform which allows users to post and interact with messages known as “tweets”. The tweets can be read by anyone even if one is not a registered user but in order to post, like, and retweet, one has to sign up on the platform. It is also more used for formal communication as compared to other social networking sites.
